HP Client Security will not save new passwords

HP Recommended
HP EliteBook Folio 9470m Ultra
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

When I upgraded HP ProtectTools to HP Client Security version 8.3.3.1786, it will no longer save password information. When I have to change a password, it will prompt me if I want to save the new one, but it does not change what is stored. This is true even if I manually edit the password.

 

What do I need to do to fix this problem?

Hi,

 

I had a similar problem (can't edit/remove existing information, can't add new information).

 

This has been solved for me since I installed version 8.3.17.2042.

I own a Zbook 17 G2 and you don't mention your type.

I therefore don't know if that newer version is compatible with your machine.

You can look for it in the compatibility list on its download page:
