Support assistant

Problem with supoort assistant when i use it to check for Hp updates it says conecting to hp server which goes okay but then it just stops on the 'Downloading messages and updates defintion'. then all i can do is click next which just takes me back to the support assisant home page thing. ive tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it and that hasnt helped.

System:  HP Pavilion g6-2381sa Notebook PC

 

Is appears you have migrated the computer to Windows 10 -- without the benefit of there being any Windows 10 HP Drivers available for the newer Operating System.

 

HP Support Assistant cannot download / install what is not there. 

 

Assuming the computer is otherwise working as expected, that is, there are no major issues, then you will likely do fine depending on Windows Updates for drivers.
