Blue tooth and Wireless Connection to Internet, Compatibility?

I have a desk top that is my direct connection to internet, DSL. OS-XP (no Blue Tooth)
I have a lap top that is connected to my desk top, wireless, OS-Windows 7 (with Blue Tooth)
I have a Tungsten E2 Palm (has Blue Tooth)
???Do I need Blue Tooth On Desk Top (OS-XP with no BlueTooth now?) for Palm Tungsten E2 (with Blue Tooth) to be compatible???

I am unable to connect Palm correctly to use just internet. Want to use on internet only not as a Phone.

Post relates to: Tungsten E2

Re: Blue tooth and Wireless Connection to Internet, Compatibility?

Your answer is the same given to everyone else asking this question - look into SoftickPPP to gain internet access either through your USB cable or wirelessly.
