Thanks to all who contributed to the original thread about problematic websites in the original TouchPad Browser (webOS version 3.0.0). HP has been monitoring that thread, and fixes were put into place for many of them. To avoid confusion, I've closed the original thread and will now start this new one to track any sites that still are not working or rendering correctly.
Since the new OTA build has arrived (webOS 3.0.2 build 68), we now want to find just those websites that are not working since the update. Before posting a reply here be sure you have installed the update! (Either OTA, or by using the 3.0.2 doctor file)
NOTE: webOS 3.04 is now available for download, and has fixed access problems to many of the listed websites. Please update your TouchPad to this new build, and I'll start a new thread.
Thanks again for helping HP build a better TouchPad!
I am a Volunteer here, not employed by HP.

New in 3.0.2
http://docs.google.com : You can no longer scroll a document. It just highlights the text. You also can't zoom for presumably the same reason: any tap and swipe is interpreted as text selection.
http://forums.palm.com : this site, when using the rich text editor, copy/paste/etc tags appear near the top of the page vs near the text when I tap and hold.
Still broken from before:
http://lockheedmartinjobs.com/searchall.aspx?sitesel=All : text box scrolling issues
http://www.precentral.net : can't comment on front page items, can't 'thumb up' or 'thumb down' posts.

Issue #1 (301 redirects):
If the browser receives the following response from a web server, then it will display the contents of the new location, but the original URL is still displayed in the address window and the context of the web page still references the original URL (instead of the new one).
HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently
This results a broken web page as nothing functions as the context is still the original web page URL.
When a web page has form tags outside of the table data tags, the table rendering is incorrect. As an example, the following HTML will cause the HP Touchpad browser to display an extra "empty" column:
<form method="post" name="ctrlform" target="deviceframe" action="/stif">
<td nowrap id="dx1015" class="tableroweven">
<span style="display='';" id="dv_Control1015">
<input type="hidden" name="bookmark" value="1015">
<input type="hidden" name="IFrameRef" value="1015">
I understand that the form tags should have been contained within the table data tags, but I cannot control how web administrators create their online forms.

hotmail.com and mail.live.com continue to have problems regarding re-logging in.
If I bring up bing.com and login to my passport account, I have gotten into both the mobile and standard web mail pages.... Much more capable than webOS mail (html mail, filters, easy search of very large folders of mail, etc. ....after a warning that my browser is not recognized.
But returning to hotmail mail from something else causes the server to attempt to relogin (possibly connecting to another server instance?) I see the count (ct) parameter on the URL count up about 6 times over 30 seconds then a default page pops up suggesting I need to register for an account.
This problem does not exist on my Palm Pre Plus 1.45 webOS ....
Why do I care? ...I've come to trust the security filters and the automatic mail sorting, not to mention the html mail support. ....and want to get away from my desktop PC !!!

...another of the vast number of interactive sites that can't be used because drag, squeeze and double-tap gestures are never passed to the website (being used instead to modify the rendering of the screen local to the TP.)
Specific example: http://www.brainpopjr.com/science/animals/butterflies/puzzle/
...try to move the puzzle parts.
Suggestion, just as there is a no rotate mode, there needs to be a no zoom mode in which the full size web page is shown and all drag, double-tap etc gestures are passed to the website.
Update.... I can get the brainpowerjr puzzles to work by first double tapping inside the puzzle area. WebOS pops up a message that says "tap outside or pinch when finished" which then fades away. I then can quite easily tap to select a puzzle piece an then drag it into place.
This suggests to me the webOS interface already has the transparent pass-through mode, but the problem is with turning it on. I tried the same trick in Google office and it did NOT pop up the dialog or otherwise get out of the way. Anyone have ANY idea why it only works on some sites?

cut and paste still problematic ... After cutting a url out of the address bar of one browser page, try pasting into one of these dialog boxes ... E.g the brainpopjr.com URL I'm my previous message.
The paste option never comes up.
Strongly suggest returning the "edit" option on the application pull-down (top left corner) for when the taps and touches are confused.

The http:\\www.bbc.co.uk website 'child pages' (those reached from the main site) seems to be stuck in an endless reload loop. This site used to work so this may be an issue with the Webos upgrade. I've noticed this with a few sites where the page constantly reloads.
