HP ENVY x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hi guys! Hope you can help me on this one.

So, this is what happened:

Days ago, I tried to open my Netflix app in my laptop (HP ENVY x360) for the first time. Then, it had a message that said "A new version of the Netflix app is available and is required to continue". So I tried to enter to Store and it keeps appearing the following: "Something unexpected happened". So I tried to refresh the page and it wouldn't let me and even restarted the laptop and it stills the same way.

What can I do? What it has to do with?

Thanks for your attention!

If the issue is with Windows Store, try resetting it.

Method 1 - Programs - Reset and Clear Store Cache

  1. Microsoft Solutions - Windows 10 App Store not working
  2. How to Clear and Reset the Store Cache in Windows 10

Method 2 – Reset Store

  • Create Restore Point

Stop all programs:  Browsers, games, Applications, etc.

Control Panel > icon view > System > System Protection

Click (Highlight) your main disk (C) > Select Create a Restore Point

  • Verify Windows Updates are current (checked / updated within the week)

Settings > Update and Security > Check information in Update Status

Edits - corrected instructions

  • Reset the Application for the Store

Windows key > type / search for:

  wsreset

Right-Click on wsreset >

Select “Open File Location” >

When the folder opens,

Right-Click on wsreset >

Run as administrator

Restart the computer and log in
