HPTablet 608 G1
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello: I need help with an issue with my refurbished HPTablet 608 G1. When I turn on tablet I get following message:

PRODUCT INFORMATION NOT VALID

"The following product information programmed into this system board is missing or invalid"

Board (00A)- Product Name

Board (00A)- Product Serial Number

Board (00A)- Product Number

Eventually the tablet does turn on and I can use it without further issues except when downloading some updates.

Has anyone been able to solve similar problems with there machine?

I tried to contact HP by phone and when I gave them my tablet's Serial # they can't find it and just kept transfering me from one rep to another without solving the problem. I also tried to follow online instructions and got nowhere. I'm desperate now. Any ideas or suggestions will be appreciated.

I had a very bad experience with HP customer service and will never buy  or recommend another tablet from them.

Thank you much,

Humberto

Your contract of sale is with the shop that sold it to you (at least here in the UK it is) so I'd take it back to them to fix or provide a refund. It sounds like only something HP can fix.
