HP Z230 Workstation
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Ultimately, I'm trying to get the Windows 10 version 1703 upgrade to install. It fails with a message "We couldn't update the system reserved partition."

An identical workstation to mine has performed the 1703 upgrade okay. The only difference is the amount of space left in the EFI System Partition. This partition is sized the same on both workstations.

If I map a drive to that partition I see there's only 13 MB left. There are the \EFI\Microsoft, \EFI\Boot and \EFI\HP directories. Under \EFI\HP there are 3 directories: SystemDiags, BIOSUpdate, and BIOS. The directory \EFI\HP\SystemDiags contains 55 MB of files, e.g., SystemDiags32.efi, SystemDiags.efi, HPSysDiags.efi.

I believe the \EFI\HP\SystemDiags directory may have been created when I installed HP PC Hardware Diagnostics.  How can I uninstall HP PC Hardware Diagnostics? Can I delete all the files in this directory? Can I delete all the files under \EFI\HP?

Thanks!
