Product: Elitebbook 9480M
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Microsoft recently released a Windows 10 Pro update which makes my fingerprint scanner no longer operational. I contacted HP which said it is an issue with Microsoft so I contacted Microsoft, reinstalled Windows 10 and Microsoft states HP has not written drivers to accommodate the software update.

 

Does anyone know if there is a working solution that will allow the Synaptics Fingerprint Scanner on the Elitebook 9480M to work with Windows 10 Pro? Windows Hello states a driver does not exist.
