HP 450 G6
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Good Afternoon,

At work we have 6 HP 450 G6 laptops with Thunderbolt Docks and we wish to use 3 screens on them, the following occurs:

1. If we use 2 external monitors on the dock and the built in screen of the laptop everything works

2. If we close the laptop and the built in monitor turns off the 3rd screen shows but is limited to 640x480

3. We also tried booting Ubuntu to see if it was a windows specific issue but here we were unable at all to enable the 3rd screen.

We have updated the drivers and the firmware and everything we could find but nothing seems to help.

We did our research and the Intel UHD 620 Should support 3 screens (As demonstrated by 2 external and the built in working simultanious in extended mode) But for some reason even if the built-in is disabled it refuses to show 3 external monitors.

Configuration:

HP 450 G6

HP Thunderbolt Dock G2

All possible updates installed

2 Screens on DP and 1 Screen on VGA (only possible configuration unfortunatly)

Any ideas? (It not being supported is also an answer but that isn't listed anywhere so far)

We've been at this for over a month now.
