HP s270n
macOS 11.0 Big Sur

I had an HP s270n monitor that I really liked, but I had to return it when I left my job.

So I bought another one for myself: same make and model.

However, the new monitor won't work with my same computer: a MacBook Air.

I'm connecting my MacBook Air to the HP s270n monitor using a USB-C cable.

The error message on the monitor reads "Input Signal Not Found" . "Check the video cable and video source."

The monitor works with my MacBook Pro when connected using an HDMI cable.

The monitor does not work with 2 different laptops connected using a USB-C cable.

I also tried 2 different USB-C cables; neither works.

It says USB-C Video Connected on the monitor.

Any suggestions?
