Hello.
HP laptop PC - 17-by3054ur.
Serial number: [Personal Information Removed]. On guarantee.
The body was deformed in the area of the right hinge. We took the laptop to the official HP service center in Russia, Chelyabinsk, 40 let Pobedy st., bld. 29v. The service center refused to repair it under warranty, writing the reason "Mechanical damage to the case". That is, the specific cause of the damage has not been clarified. The laptop was not dropped, it stood in one place. When I asked about the expertise, they said that they do not have experts, and I have to contact HP.
According to Article 18 of the Law of the Russian Federation "On Protection of Consumer Rights" I have the right to return the goods, reimburse their value or repair at the expense of the seller.
Why HP and the service center refuse to provide warranty repairs for a device that was purchased recently and was not subjected to mechanical stress from the user?
