Product: OfficeJet Pro 6978
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

All I want in my LIFE is to get a driver for this printer of my wife's.  Can't do it through the HP Smart app, nor through the website.  I recognize that it's possible that there is no driver available and that it just won't work, but on the off chance that one of you has run up against the same problem, as a last ditch, I thought I'd ask you.

 

Using wireless network; all other things connected to it are working fine.  No error messages.  The printer turns on and off fine. Really can't think of anything else to try.  I'm lost here. I'd be grateful for any help. Thanks.
