Product: LaserJet Pro MFP M426

I am trying to replace the cartridge in a LaserJet Pro MFP M426, but the door WON'T close when I insert the new cartridge.  I had this problem with an earlier LaserJet Pro MFP M426.  When I called HP, the tech person couldn't solve the problem either and shipped a whole new machine!  I then learned there is some secret to replacing these cartridges.  WHAT IS THE SECRET TO GETTING THE DOOR TO CLOSE?!
