Product: Officejet 5255
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Scanning a single page takes about 1-1/2 minute, including the time it takes to print. The scanning part takes about a minute.  By contrast, scanning with the HP Scan utility, which uses the page feeder rather than the flat scanner bed, takes less than 30 seconds.
Within the last month or so HP has remoted-in to my computer and reloaded the printer software. I don't know whether that could have anything to do with the issue.
