HP ScanJet 8200
macOS 10.13 High Sierra

I tried with 3 computers to reuse my excellent HP ScanJet 8200, but I do not succeed:

1. Windows Vista Ultimate: I still have the software on the computer, but when it starts to calculate I get error message and I do not get a result of the scanned data (I need 1200 dpi).

2. Windows 10: I can download a softaware for the ScanJet 8270, but finally, I cannotbscan with it.

3. MacBook Pro: macOS 10.13.6 High Sierra. I think that the problem her is that the computer is a 64 bit and the software is only available for a 32 bit one.

Does it mean, I have to forget this (expensive, 15 year old ) scanner, which was excellent for scanning dia positives and negative film?

Thank for an advice.
