HP Officejet 5200, model 5255
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I purchased this printer on Amazon Aug. 2019 and it has failed miserably after printing only 209 pages, and buying additional ink cartridges to troubleshoot issues. No Color printing and Black printing streaks.

Printer Quality Diagnostic as follows:

  • Ink levels measure OK and ink is verified HP (#1)
  • NO color in #4 of Diagnostic page – performed Clean Cartridges and Second Level Clean Cartridges to no effect. 
  • NO arrow seen at #6, (let alone a dark line or gap) – performed Align Printer. Error message says alignment unsuccessful, performed procedure several times without success

Should I just give up a buy a different brand of printer? No support from HP since it is passed warranty.

Update: HP reached out to me by phone and offered coupon for new puchase which I accepted. I'm satisfied with the resoultion.
