Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have Hp omen 16gb ram, 1tb with 128 ssd, nvidia gtx 965m. I bought it a week later. I always charge it when it went 20%. When I plugged in the ac adapter, the color of the indicator is amber or orange it means that it is charging right? then i noticed that after 30 min. it changed its color to white which means it was fully charged. but when i turn on my laptop the battery indicator shows 45% only. so then, i plugged in the ac adapter again and the indicator shows amber color again and changes its color to white after awhile. After that, the color remains orange then lastly it went to white and when i check it it is now 100%. My question is, is it normal that the led indicator of the battery is not consistently amber when charging? Thank you. Please consider commenting to my post.
