Product: Samsung CLP-620ND
Operating System: macOS 11.0 Big Sur
I used to be able to print in colour with my Samsung CLP-620ND. For some reason, after re-installing my OS, my printer is not printing in colour anymore, only black and white is offered.
I think I need an updated driver, however, samsung/HP don't offer any for the current OS version.
How can I set up my printer to be able to actually print in colour?
I tried:
- rebooting OS
- rebooting printer
- removing the printer from the OS and adding it again
- connecting to the printer over network and USB
- printed test page (success, page printed in full colour)
- reset printer
- searched EVERYWHERE for a newer driver version
- tried to contact HP support but hit a dead end when my serial number was not accepted.
I'm seriously annoyed at this problem. Please help me getting my printer back to work or give me a way to directly contact Samsung/HP about this.
System:
- Macbook Pro 2015 and Macbook Pro M1 2020
- macOS 11.4
- Driver: Generic PCL Laser Printer
