The touch screen of my laptop under Windows 11 22H2 suddenly stopped working.
It is a HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop PC 15-ed1000 (169X2AV), Product 301U0EA Serial Number [Personal Information Removed]
The device manager for the I2C HID stated (translated):
‘This apparatus does not start (Code 10). A request for the HID descriptor failed.’
1. I assume Microsoft changed the HP driver into a Microsoft driver, causing the problem. Trying to restore an old HP driver was not possible (could not find). What is the name of the HP-driver, such that I can download it.
2. Or is there another solution for the problem?
Thanks in advance for any help.
