Product: HP ScanJet Pro 2000 s2 Sheet-feed Scanner

I didn't use HP Scan for a couple of weeks. When I started HP Scan today I was prompted to update the firmware. I did, it completed successfully, restarted the Machine, and after that the option to save as searchable PDF is missing. I completely uninstalled all HP software, rebooted, downloaded & installed the full packet which includes OCR (Full_Webpack-63.5.6303-SJ0001_Full_Webpack.exe) but the problem persists. I can scan, but the option to create a searchable PDF is missing. Installed version is 63.5.0. Windows shows HP OCR as installed:

I also installed HP Scan OCR Add-on Software, but that didn't change anything.

Do you have any idea what I could try next?
