Hello,
I'm thinking of buying an HP Laptop 17T-DF000 that is on sale right now and am interested in adding a 2.5 in. drive. Google AI says that I can add one, that I need the bracket and cable. But on the website Drivesolutions.com the HP 17T-DF000 is not listed as a valid laptop for upgrade, maybe is new model, just need to know if I can add the 2.5in SSD to the supposed empty bay on hp 17T-DF000.

Hi:
The model series only supports M.2 NVMe SSDs and some come with 128 GB UFS drives which cannot be upgraded.
There is no support to add a 2.5" SATA drive.
The model series must use the same service manual listed on the support page but the df0xx model series is not specifically listed.

I doubt that there are any new notebooks nowadays that come with support for 2.5" drives.
