📢 Need Help Identifying LCD Screen Model for HP 15s-eq1117AU
Hi everyone! 👋
I’m looking to replace the LCD screen on my HP 15s-eq1117AU laptop and I want to make sure I order the correct part. Can anyone help me with the specific screen model number and let me know if it uses a 30-pin or 40-pin connector?
If you’ve replaced the screen on this exact model before or have access to the specs, your input would be super helpful!
Any recommendations on where to order a reliable replacement (local or online) would also be appreciated. 🙏
Thanks in advance!

Hi:
Below is the link to the parts list for your notebook:
The parts list shows your notebook as a 15s-eq10117tu, but the 1R8J4PA product number is what shows up on the link for the model number you posted.
PartSeekPro: HP HP Laptop 15s-eq1117AU (1R8J4PA) Parts
According to the HP partsurfer website (1st link I posted) the HP part number and description for the LCD panel is:
L78716-001 | LCD RAW PNL 15.6 HD BV SVA |
And that matches what the above website indicates.
The panel has a 30-pin connector.
The only suggestion I can offer would be to do a search by the HP LCD part number where you can do online shopping for electronics/PC's in the Philippines and see if you can find a LCD panel that references the HP part number.
You can also contact HP's authorized parts supplier who does business in the Philippines and see if they can be of help.

I’m having a hard time finding the correct LCD replacement for my HP 15s-eq1117AU laptop. I haven’t opened the screen yet, so I don’t have access to the exact model number or serial number on the back of the panel.
Before I take it apart, I wanted to ask if anyone here has already replaced the screen on this model

I gave you the information on the part you need on my reply above your last one.
The chances of anyone on this forum having replaced the display panel on your exact same notebook are extremely slim.
Also the serial number you posted also provides the same 1R8J4PA product number so, the screen part number I posted is the correct one.
Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the LCD panel removal and replacement procedure.
