Fully update your windows and check after restart. If issue remains, then .

Step-by-Step: Disable Recall via Control Panel (Fixes AIXHost.exe Error)

Run as Administrator account throughout.

1. Press Windows + R, type control and hit Enter to open Control Panel.

2. Click All Control Panel Items"> "Programs and Features" (or navigate directly via search).

3. On the left sidebar, click "Turn Windows features on or off".

4. Scroll down the features list, find "Recall" (or "Windows Recall").

5. Uncheck the box next to Recall.

6. Click OK. Windows will process changes (may take 1-2 minutes).

7. Restart your computer when prompted.

Error should disappear post-reboot as Recall and AIX components

are fully disabled. As I know it's just a optional AI screenshot feature.

Thanks Venom21. I followed your steps but in the end I got: the requested changes could not be completed. Error code 0x8000FFFF
