Hi @srisaxop,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your laptop!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

First, restart your Chromebook. Click on the Clock (bottom-right corner) > Power icon > Restart. If it's frozen, press and hold the Power button until it turns off, then turn it back on.

Next, check for Chrome OS updates. Click on the Clock (bottom-right corner), select Settings (⚙️ icon), click About Chrome OS on the left side, and click Check for updates. Install any available updates and restart your Chromebook.

For Android apps, clear the app cache and storage. Open Settings, go to Apps > Manage Apps, select the app that won’t open, and click Storage & Cache > Clear Cache and Clear Storage.

Remove and reinstall the app by opening the Launcher (circle icon at the bottom-left), right-clicking the app, and selecting Uninstall. Then, open the Play Store and reinstall the app.

Check storage space by opening the Files app and deleting old downloads or moving files to Google Drive if storage is low.

As a last resort, perform a Powerwash (factory reset). This will erase all local files, so make sure to back up important files first. Click the Clock (bottom-right corner) > Settings (⚙️), scroll down and click Advanced, under Reset settings, select Powerwash > Restart, click Powerwash again, and follow the instructions.

If none of these steps work, let me know what apps you're trying to open, and I'll help further! 😊

I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?"—your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍

Take care and have an amazing day ahead! 🚀

Best regards,

Kuroi_Kenshi
