HP accounts used across services like HP Smart, HP Customer Support, and HP Instant Ink all use the same login system, but unfortunately, HP does not currently offer a direct way to merge multiple HP accounts into one. However, here’s what you can do:
Recommended Steps to Consolidate Your HP Accounts
1. Choose One Primary HP Account
Pick the email address you want to use going forward for all HP services.
2. Manually Re-add Devices to Your Primary Account
- Sign in to Create and manage an HP account or HP app account | HP® Support using your chosen account.
- Add your devices manually using serial numbers or let HP auto-detect them.
- For printers, sign in to the HP Smart and re-register the printer under your preferred account.
3. Remove Devices from Other Accounts
- Log in to your secondary accounts.
- Remove any devices (especially printers) from the dashboard or HP Smart app.
- This ensures they can be added to your primary account without conflict.
