@saraels, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding screen issue!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Check Display Settings: Ensure the brightness setting in Windows is set to an appropriate level. You can adjust the brightness in the display settings or using the function keys (usually F11 and F12).

Update or Reinstall Graphics Drivers: Make sure that your graphics drivers are up-to-date. You can download the latest drivers from the official website of your laptop manufacturer.

Inspect the Connections: Ensure that all connections are properly secured. A loose connection could cause display issues.

BIOS Settings: Sometimes, brightness issues can be related to BIOS settings. Access your BIOS settings and check for any relevant options.

Power Settings: Ensure that your laptop’s power settings are not set to power-saving mode, which might reduce the brightness.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
