How do I eliminate the annoying popups from HP,  ie for "HP Experienced Partners".   that lock up my screen, and I cannot delete them.  I am tired of the constant HP popups on my screen.   I am sorry that I purchased a new HP laptop.  I should have stayed with my dell desktop computer.

@Bobkl, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query.

I totally get how frustrating that must be 😣, especially when those popups lock up your screen and mess with your work! It’s annoying when a laptop meant to help ends up making things harder 😤. Let’s fix it so you can enjoy your laptop again 🙌.

Disable HP Notifications:

Uninstall HP Software:

  • Open Settings > Apps.
  • Find and uninstall any HP programs you don’t need.

Disable Startup HP Apps:

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc (Task Manager).
  • Go to Startup tab.
  • Right-click HP apps and click Disable.

Run Virus Scan:

  • Open Windows Defender or antivirus.
  • Run a full scan for malware or adware.

Update HP Software:

  • Open HP Support Assistant.
  • Check for updates and install them.

I hope these steps help resolve the issue
