hola, he adquirido una hp victus con Ryzer 5 8645HS la adquiri con este procesador, ya que tenia entendido que trae NPU nativo, pero veo que no lo tiene activo y no puedo activarlo por la Versión de Bios de mi victus, que es F.06 que ya es muy antigua y necesito actualizarlo pero dentro de los controladores no hay actualizaciones recientes. Me pueden ayudar al respecto.

I bought it with this processor, as I understood it had a native NPU, but I see that it is not active and I cannot activate it because of the BIOS version of my Victus, which is F.06, which is already very old. Thanks for the detailed info! You're right, the AMD Ryzen 5 8645HS includes a Ryzen AI NPU, but it requires BIOS and firmware support to be activated. If your Victus by HP 15.6" Gaming Laptop 15-fb2000 (90Q63AV) is still on BIOS version F.06, that’s quite outdated and likely doesn’t support the NPU features.

Here's What You Can Do

1. Check for the Latest BIOS Update

You can manually check and download the latest BIOS from HP’s official support page for your model:

• Select Windows 11 as your OS.
• Expand the BIOS section.
• BIOS F.07 is listed. Download and install it.

2. Use HP Support Assistant

Sometimes BIOS updates are pushed through HP Support Assistant before they appear on the website.

• Download or open HP Support Assistant:
  👉 HP Support Assistant | HP® Support
• Go to Updates > Check for updates and messages.
• If a BIOS update is available, it will appear there.

3. Enable NPU in BIOS (If Available)

After updating BIOS:

• Reboot and enter BIOS (usually by pressing Esc or F10 at startup).
• Look for settings under Advanced > AMD AI Engine or NPU Configuration.
• Enable any NPU-related options.
