Hi @NickA53

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand the concern. Since the BIOS update is looping continuously on your HP All-in-One 24-dp0000wa and not completing successfully, let's focus on HP recovery options that can help restore normal startup.

  1. Turn the PC off completely.
  2. Disconnect all external devices except the keyboard and mouse.
  3. Press and hold the Windows key + B.
  4. While holding those keys, press and hold the Power button for 2 to 3 seconds, then release the Power button while continuing to hold Windows + B.
  5. When the HP BIOS Recovery screen appears, release the keys and allow the recovery process to complete.
  6. Restart the PC after recovery finishes.

If the system still returns to the BIOS update loop:

  1. Power off the PC.
  2. Turn it on and repeatedly tap the Esc key.
  3. From the Startup Menu, press F2 and run HP Hardware Diagnostics to check for any hardware-related issues.
  4. If available, select BIOS Management and review the BIOS status.

Please let us know whether the HP BIOS Recovery screen appears when using the Windows + B method, as that will help determine the next HP-supported step.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
