Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fb0000 (598U8AV)

My Bluetooth is not working properly.
It disappears many times automatically...
Also, one issue is with the battery; it suddenly jumps to 100% when I put it on charge.
And after removing it, it gets power off suddenly.

Hi @Prem1210

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand the concern. Based on the behavior you described on your HP Victus 15-fb0000 Gaming Laptop, there appear to be two areas that need attention:

  1. Bluetooth disappears intermittently
  2. Battery charge reporting and power behavior are abnormal (jumps to 100% when connected to power and the notebook powers off after the charger is removed)

Since both symptoms can be related to power management, drivers, BIOS, or battery health, please try the following troubleshooting steps.

1. Update the BIOS

An outdated BIOS can affect Bluetooth communication and battery management.

  1. Connect the AC adapter.
  2. Open HP Support Assistant.
  3. Select your Victus laptop.
  4. Check for and install any available BIOS updates.
  5. Restart the notebook after installation.

2. Perform a Power Reset

  1. Shut down the notebook.
  2. Disconnect all external devices.
  3. Disconnect the AC adapter.
  4. Press and hold the Power button for about 15 seconds.
  5. Reconnect the charger and start the notebook.

3. Reinstall the Bluetooth Driver

  1. In Windows, open Device Manager.
  2. Expand Bluetooth.
  3. Right-click the Bluetooth adapter and select Uninstall device.
  4. Restart the notebook.
  5. Windows should reload the Bluetooth driver automatically.
  6. If needed, install the latest Bluetooth driver from the HP support page for your exact Victus model.

4. Disable Bluetooth Power Saving

  1. Open Device Manager.
  2. Open the properties of the Bluetooth adapter.
  3. Select the Power Management tab.
  4. Clear Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
  5. Click OK and restart the notebook.

5. Run HP Battery Diagnostics

  1. Shut down the notebook.
  2. Turn it on and repeatedly tap F2.
  3. Open HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI.
  4. Select Component Tests > Power > Battery.
  5. Allow the battery test to complete and note the result.

6. Check Battery Calibration

If the battery percentage jumps suddenly to 100%, the battery gauge may be reporting incorrectly.

  1. Charge the notebook to full.
  2. Disconnect the charger and use the notebook until the battery is low.
  3. Reconnect the charger and allow it to charge uninterrupted back to 100%.
  4. Monitor whether the battery percentage changes gradually or still jumps unexpectedly.

7. Install Windows and HP Driver Updates

  1. Go to Settings > Windows Update.
  2. Install all pending updates.
  3. Restart the notebook.
  4. Recheck Bluetooth stability and battery behavior.

If the HP Battery Test reports a failure or the notebook continues to shut down immediately when the charger is removed, that would indicate the battery is not supplying power correctly and the battery status result will help identify the next course of action.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
