@LOKESHVARMA831, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Understanding Bypass Charging on HP Victus 15

Bypass charging is a feature available in some HP laptops that allows the device to use power from the AC adapter directly without charging the battery. This can be useful to preserve battery health, especially when the laptop is connected to AC power for extended periods.

For the HP Victus 15, it's important to note that the availability of bypass charging and how it is enabled may depend on the model and the features provided by the pre-installed HP software or BIOS settings.

Steps to Check or Enable Bypass Charging:

HP Power Manager or Similar Software:

  • Check if your laptop has HP Power Manager installed. This software may have options to manage or enable battery health features such as bypass charging.
  • You can download it from the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads page specific to your model if it is not pre-installed.

BIOS Settings:

  • Restart your laptop and enter the BIOS setup by pressing F10 (or the respective key for your model) when starting up.
  • Navigate to "Advanced" or "Power Configuration" sections to check if there is an option for battery or power management settings related to bypass charging or similar features.

Windows Power Settings:

  • Although bypass charging is typically a hardware feature, check Windows Power Options for any settings related to battery health or connected standby behaviors.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
