Good morning.  

 

I cannot access Google from my laptop.  I receive the following message.  Any ideas how to resolve this problem please?  Thank you in advance for your help.  

This site can’t provide a secure connection

markedoneofthe.com sent an invalid response.

 

  • Try running Windows Network Diagnostics.
ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR

  • Are you using Wi‑Fi or a wired connection?
  • Which browser are you using (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, etc.)?

Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try right away:

  • Clear browser cache and cookies: Sometimes stored data interferes with secure connections.
  • Check your system date and time: Incorrect settings can cause SSL errors.
  • Try another browser: This helps confirm if the issue is browser‑specific.
  • Disable extensions temporarily: Certain add‑ons can block secure connections.
  • Restart your router and laptop: A fresh connection often resolves temporary glitches.
