Hi There,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand how frustrating it is when your HP LaserJet Pro P1108 cuts off the right side of a landscape print, especially when everything else seems fine.

💡 Why This Happens

This issue is usually caused by:

  • Incorrect paper size or margins in the print settings
  • A mismatch between the application page setup and printer settings
  • Driver or firmware limitations with landscape printing

HP Recommended Steps to Fix Landscape Cut-Off Issue

1. Check Page Setup in Application

Before printing:

  • Go to File > Page Setup or Print Settings in your app (Word, PDF viewer, etc.)
  • Ensure:
    • Orientation is set to Landscape
    • Paper size matches what’s loaded (e.g., A4 or Letter)
    • Margins are not too narrow

2. Adjust Printer Properties

  • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers
  • Right-click your HP LaserJet P1108 > Printing Preferences
  • Set:
    • Paper Size to match your document
    • Orientation to Landscape
    • Scaling to Fit to Page or None (avoid “Zoom” or “Scale to 100%” if it causes clipping)

3. Update or Reinstall Driver

Sometimes older drivers cause formatting issues: 👉 HP LaserJet Pro P1108 plus Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support

Choose the Full Feature Software and Driver for best compatibility.

4. Print a Test Page

  • Try printing a test page from Printer Properties
  • If it prints correctly in landscape, the issue is likely with the app settings

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
