Can I install an M2 SSD on my HP 24-g014 PC?

@ayyi,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

The HP All-in-One 24-g014 does not have an M.2 slot. However, you can upgrade storage by:

1. Replacing the 3.5-inch HDD with a 2.5-inch SATA SSD:

  • This is the easiest and best upgrade option.
  • Use a 2.5-inch SATA SSD (e.g., Samsung 870 EVO, Crucial MX500).
  • You may need a 2.5-inch to 3.5-inch mounting adapter.

2. Using an External USB SSD:

  • If you just need extra fast storage, an external USB 3.0 SSD (like the Samsung T7 or Crucial X8) is a plug-and-play option.

Final Recommendation:

If you want better speed and performance, upgrading to a 2.5-inch SATA SSD as the primary drive is the best option. Would you like guidance on cloning your OS to a new SSD?

Kind Regards,
