Hi, just posting this in the first suggested board since I can't find one more relevant to carepacks specifically. I bought a carepack for my laptop back in early March & the email said 2-3 weeks registration time, then after that passed I talked to a support agent who tried to help me with my problem early this month & they said I could expect an email within 3-5 business days about the carepack registration.

 

I haven't received any communication or additional emails from HP since then, and there's been no emails about delays or anything so I'm getting a little worried about the status of my carepack purchase. I haven't yet called the carepack registration line since the emails I have gotten said the process should be handled for me, and I'd like to avoid having to get on a phone call with support if there's any easier way to do this. I have, as the title indicates, also tried to register it manually, but the carepack registration page does nothing when I submit my information.

 

I did reach the link to purchase the carepack specifically through a page that showed plans for my laptop, and I had to enter the serial number before buying, and I double-checked compatibility and everything, but my laptop was a customized order,  if that has any bearing on registration difficulties. The support agent I talked to April 10th seemed to show some uncertainty about the compatibility of the plan I got with the laptop I have, but I did make every effort to try and ensure compatibility.

Rest assured, HP’s phone support team will handle this for you. They have the tools and access needed to verify and update your CarePack registration. If needed, they can escalate your case to ensure a resolution.
