Charger doesn't work properly. I have to reinsert it a couple of times before it starts charging.
I tried this and the test passed but I had to reinsert the charger and the charging block a few times before the light went on that showed that it was charging.

@goatieee, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
What is the exact model Notebook you are using?
Refer to this document to know how to find the Product Name or Product Number.
Perform a test to check the functionality of the charger
Make sure the power cord and adapter is connected to the system and wall outlet.
Press and hold the power button until the computer turns off completely.
Turn on the computer.
Immediately press the F2 key repeatedly, about once every second, until the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI screen displays.
In the UEFI Main menu, select Component Tests.
In the Component Tests menu, select Power > Select AC Adapter > Run the test.
The Notebook including the charger comes with one year of factory warranty. If it is defective under the warranty period, it can be replaced. If it is out of warranty, kindly visit HP Store to check the availability and order the same online.
For more info on testing the AC adapter, refer to Using and Testing the AC Power Adapter.
