My laptop was completely fine, but suddenly, when I tried to turn it on today, I noticed that it didn't turn on. I thought it might not have any charge, so I plugged in the charger, but it didn't charge either. I then plugged in my phone's charger and tried to charge my phone, but the phone didn't charge as well. The only thing I noticed is that the LED light in the power button is blinking. There is no beep sound or fan activity. What should I do now?

Hi @rupomay,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be glad to help you!
I'm sorry to hear about your laptop not powering on—it can be so frustrating and concerning when a device suddenly stops working, especially when you've been relying on it.
CAUTION: If your computer does not turn on, wait at least 5 minutes before troubleshooting the computer. Your computer might be installing an update for Windows or the BIOS or detecting new hardware. During this update process, you can expect the screen to be blank for several minutes. It might damage the computer if this process is interrupted. Do not turn off or unplug the computer during the update process.
Remove devices and perform a hard reset
To determine whether you need to contact HP or troubleshoot startup issues, perform a hard reset.
Note: A hard reset does not affect data saved on your computer.
- Turn off the computer.
- Disconnect the AC adapter.
- Remove memory cards from the card reader slot.
- Disconnect all nonessential devices such as printers, scanners, external hard drives, and USB flash drives.
- Note: Do not disconnect your mouse, keyboard, or monitor.
- With the AC adapter unplugged, press and hold the power button for approximately 20 seconds.
- Reconnect the AC adapter, and then turn on the computer.
- Note: Be sure that you use the AC adapter that was shipped with the computer.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance

Thank you for your response .I tried to follow all the steps you mentioned. But even after waiting for more than an hour the LED light on the power button continued blinking and the keyboard was entirely unresponsive. I held the power button for 20 second bu it didn't work.So I tried to hold it for 1 minute. Unfortunately, there was no result. Could you kindly advise me on what to do next?

Hi @rupomay ,
We apologize for the inconvenience. The issue seems to persist even after attempting the troubleshooting steps mentioned above.
This might require one-on-one interaction via remote assistance to fix the issue over the phone or take it to the service center as this looks like a hardware issue.
