It is going to sleep due to inactivity. Bring up the on screen display (OSD) and see if there is a time interval for sleeping or just an on / off for sleep.

 

Note that if the PC tries to display a resolution that the monitor cannot handle the monitor can go to sleep.  Usually there is a message about the problem but the messages might be only for a second or two before the monitor sleeps.
