Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

After days of trying I finally got pc working with Win 8 using old 2.5" HD as SATA 0.

Usb Memory stivk OK

Usb DVD OK

Usb 3.5" OK

Then replaced DVD SATA 1 with 3.5" Seagate HD. PC would not boot, with Partion error. The purpose of using this HD was to prepare the partitions usinf EASEUS which had worked earlier. Replaced the HD with same DVD as SATA 1. PC still had the partition error.

This PC has ps2 keyboard that does not work during BIOS work, I have to use a USB keyboard. When I used WIN 8 explorer to look at CD or DVD the tray opens asking to put cd in when there is already one there.

I have two DC5700 to do similar work and they have never failed. Their BIOS is so much easier to understand.
