I tried to upgrade my desktop that had Windows 10 on it to windows 11. some who the hard drive go corrupted and appears to have no Operating System.

It doesn't sound like a BIOS problem to me.

 

Have you tried reinstalling W10 or W11?

 

Download Windows 10

 

To clean install W11 you would have to use a slightly different approach by making a bootable W11 installation flash drive with Rufus that will bypass the W11 hardware checks.

If it was a BIOS issue, the PC wouldn't even boot up.
