Hello,

 

Why are HP replacement batteries so expensive?  The replacement part for my laptop is L11118-855 costs around $100 that is quite expensive for 41Wh battery!  My laptop purchased in 2020 costed me around $400 and now its value should be $100.  This is quite expensive for me in India.

 

I was left with no option but to use a non HP battery  which is detected as non-HP by BIOS and that is giving me HW detection problems. Wish HP would make replacement parts affordable.  I think most users opt for equivalent batteries rather than original one and there is a thriving market for that.  HP should take note and
