HP EliteBook 860 16 inch G11 Notebook PC (8N369AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I discovered, unfortunately after the legal return period, that my new HP EliteBook has the right Ctrl key replaced by a "CoPilot" key. I rely heavily on the right Ctrl key (+ C,V,W,T,L, Backspace ...) in my daily work, let it be in the browser or a code editor and I'm sure a lot of other users do so as well.

Remapping the key using MS Powertoys seems to work for some users, while it does not for others. I tried all the solutions proposed in different threads regarding Powertoys. I'm on  Windows 11 Pro Version 10.0.26100 Build 26100, MS PowerToys v0.89.0 (also tried in admin mode).

Proposed solution:
Map the key for multiple purposes like the windows start key, which can open the start menu AND be used for shortcuts the same time.
- Press/Release triggers CoPilot

- Press/Hold + other keys triggers shortcut
