Hinge and screen surround issue

Has anyone else had an issue with HP Pavilion 15 Laptop - randomly the hinge is malfunctioning and the screen surround is separating from the screen.   No one has dropped the device.  It barely leaves the desk and is not used outside the home.  I'm really fed up with HP as the warranty only expired in March this year.  It's just over two years old.  I thought it would be a similar spec to my previous HP laptop.  Sadly not.  Would be useful to know if anyone else has a similar issue with this product.
