Hi @JamieJ5853,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

To turn on your new HP wireless keyboard, follow these simple steps:

Check for Power:

  • Ensure that the batteries are installed correctly in your wireless keyboard. Most wireless keyboards have a compartment for batteries at the bottom.

  • Use the appropriate type of battery as specified in the user manual, typically AA or AAA batteries.

Locate the Power Switch:

  • Look for a small switch, typically located on the side or bottom of the keyboard. This is the power switch that you need to toggle to the "on" position.

Bluetooth Connection:

  • Ensure that the wireless receiver (USB dongle) is plugged into your computer. Your keyboard communicates with the computer via this USB receiver.

  • Some keyboards may use Bluetooth connectivity, so ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your PC.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
