@Ap20258, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

If your HP All-in-One desktop is stuck on the "Just a Moment" screen, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue:

Step 1: Perform a Hard Reset

Turn Off the Computer:

  • Press and hold the Power button until the computer shuts down completely.

Disconnect Power:

  • Unplug the power cord from the back of the computer.

Discharge Residual Power:

  • Press and hold the Power button for about 15 seconds to drain any residual power.

Reconnect Power:

  • Plug the power cord back into the computer.

Restart the Computer:

  • Turn on the computer by pressing the Power button.

Step 2: Restart in Safe Mode

Sometimes booting into Safe Mode can help bypass startup issues.

Restart Computer:

  • Turn off the computer, then turn it back on.

Access Advanced Startup Options:

  • As the computer starts, repeatedly press the F11 key to open the Advanced Startup Options menu. If F11 does not work, try pressing the F8 key.

Navigate to Safe Mode:

  • In the Advanced Startup Options menu, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.
  • After the computer restarts, press the number key corresponding to Safe Mode (typically F4).

Exit Safe Mode:

  • Once in Safe Mode, you can try restarting the computer normally to see if the issue is resolved.

Step 3: Perform a System Restore

Restoring the system to an earlier point can sometimes fix the issue.

Access Advanced Startup Options:

  • Repeat the steps to enter Safe Mode (Step 2) until you reach the Advanced Startup Options menu.

Start System Restore:

  • From the Advanced Startup Options menu, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > System Restore.

Select Restore Point:

  • Choose a restore point from before the issue began and follow the on-screen instructions.

Step 4: Reset the PC

A more drastic step is to reset the PC, which can resolve many software issues but will remove installed programs.

Access Advanced Startup Options:

  • Repeat the steps to enter Safe Mode (Step 2) until you reach the Advanced Startup Options menu.

Select Reset This PC:

  • From the Advanced Startup Options menu, select Troubleshoot > Reset this PC.

Choose an Option:

  • Select either "Keep my files" (which keeps your personal files) or "Remove everything" (which removes all files).

Complete the Process:

  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the reset.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
