HP ENVY Curved All-in-One - 34-b135se
Microsoft Windows 11

I’m trying to use a newer hp envy wireless keyboard and mouse on an old envy. Both envy’s are i 7 34 inch screen on windows 11. I can only find one wireless keyboard and mouse. They both looked exactly the same. I did see a number when I paired but it disappeared. Was I supposed to type in the number? When I look for blue tooth in the settings in. Windows 11 I don’t see the envy wireless keyboard and mouse. Both 34 inch envy’s have built in usb receiver making they didn’t come with a usb plug to put in the computer. What do you recommend? I’ve been trying to figure this out for a couple of hours.

@dalu8z, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP Envy wireless keyboard!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

It sounds like your HP Envy wireless keyboard and mouse are paired with the other computer, and you may need to reset or re-pair them. Since your devices use a built-in USB receiver rather than a separate USB dongle, here’s what you can try:

Ensure Bluetooth is Enabled

  1. Open SettingsBluetooth & devices.
  2. Toggle Bluetooth off and then on again.
  3. Click Add deviceBluetooth and check if the keyboard and mouse appear.

Reset and Re-pair the Keyboard & Mouse

If the devices are not detected, try resetting them:

For the Keyboard:

  1. Turn off the keyboard (if there’s a power switch).
  2. Hold the Bluetooth pairing button (often on the back or bottom) for 5-10 seconds until the light starts blinking.
  3. In Windows Bluetooth settings, click Add a device and pair it.

For the Mouse:

  1. Turn off the mouse and then back on.
  2. Hold the pairing button until the LED flashes.
  3. Try pairing it again via Bluetooth settings.

Forget and Reconnect the Devices

  1. Go to SettingsBluetooth & devices.
  2. If the keyboard or mouse appear under Paired devices, click on them and select Remove device.
  3. Restart your computer and try pairing again.

Check for Conflicts

  • If the keyboard/mouse were previously connected to the other HP Envy, they may still be paired to it. Try turning off Bluetooth on the other computer and resetting the keyboard/mouse before reconnecting.

Verify USB Receiver Settings

Since both computers have a built-in USB receiver:

  • Restart the PC and check if the keyboard/mouse work in BIOS mode (press Esc/F10 at startup).
  • If they work in BIOS but not in Windows, check Device Manager:
    1. Open Device Manager (Win + X → Device Manager).
    2. Expand Bluetooth and Human Interface Devices.
    3. Right-click the keyboard/mouse, choose Uninstall, then restart and let Windows reinstall the drivers.

If nothing works, let me know what step fails, and I’ll guide you further! 😊

Take care, and have an amazing day!
