No beeps, fan doesn't spin. Power light 5on for about3 seconds then blinks slowly. I've tried disconnecting the battery and unplugging the power and holding the power button for 30 SECONDS (hard reset) and I've tried powering on while holding windows ÷V. No difference.
Any other ideas.
Note. I've also confirmed the ssd is still readable in an external interface

@Dadaroth, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP Victus Laptop Won't Power On!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If your HP Victus laptop won't power on and shows no beeps or fan activity, but the power light is on for about 3 seconds and then blinks slowly, here are several steps you can follow to further diagnose and possibly resolve the issue:
1. Verify External Power Source
Ensure the AC adapter and power source are functioning correctly. If possible, test with another compatible AC adapter to see if that resolves the issue.
2. Perform a Hard Reset Again
You have already tried a hard reset, but ensure you follow these steps precisely:
- Turn off the computer.
- Disconnect the AC adapter.
- Remove memory cards from the card reader slot.
- Disconnect all nonessential devices such as printers, scanners, external hard drives, and USB flash drives.
- With the AC adapter unplugged, press and hold the power button for approximately 20 seconds.
- Reconnect the AC adapter using the one shipped with the computer and turn on the computer.
3. Test Essential Hardware Configuration
To narrow down the issue, boot with minimum essential hardware components:
- Disconnect all external USB storage, and optical drives.
- Remove the computer from a docking station.
- Connect only a single working memory module and the SSD (since it is confirmed readable).
- If the laptop has discrete graphics, try switching to integrated graphics if possible by removing the discrete GPU.
- Use an external VGA monitor if the laptop has this option.
- Use external mouse and keyboard.
4. Check Blinking Light Codes
The power light blinking slowly can be indicative of specific errors. Refer to the troubleshooting lights and their diagnostic codes:
- 5 blinks might indicate a System Board Error. You can try reseating the internal connections or replacing the system board.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!

I have removed the SSD, both RAM sticks, and th VLAN card and 1 of the fans.
the only thing connected is the battery. but i've tried it without as well.
I have confirmed the brick is sending 20 volts
when i hold the power button for 20 seconds, it blinks slowly but eventually turs off again.
a momentary press of the power button causes the slow blink continuously.
there are no other signs f life. no beep and the fan dosent move one bit.
any other ideas?
