Yes, you can upgrade an HP Pavilion 23 to Windows 10 or possibly Windows 11, but it depends on the exact model and its hardware specs. Here's how to figure it out:
Step 1: Check Current Specs
To evaluate upgrade eligibility, check the following:
- Processor – Go to:
- Start > type System Information or msinfo32 and look for “Processor”.
- RAM – Minimum 4 GB for Windows 10, ideally 8 GB.
- Storage – At least 64 GB of free space.
- UEFI vs Legacy BIOS – Windows 11 needs UEFI + Secure Boot.
- TPM 2.0 – Required for Windows 11 (can be checked via tpm.msc).
