Hi @pat405

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It sounds like the font size issue might be related to the settings on your phone or the app you're using to print.

Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:

1. Check Document Settings

  • Open the document you're trying to print on your phone.
  • Verify the font size and scaling settings within the app you're using (e.g., HP Smart, AirPrint, or another printing app).
  • Ensure the document is formatted correctly for the paper size you're using.

2. Adjust Print Settings

  • In the HP Smart app:
    1. Select your printer and open the print settings.
    2. Look for options like "Scale" or "Fit to Page."
    3. Adjust the scaling to ensure the content fits properly on the page.

3. Test with Different Apps

  • If you're using a specific app to print, try using another app (e.g., HP Smart or a PDF viewer) to see if the issue persists.

4. Update Printer Firmware

  • Visit the HP Support website and check for firmware updates for your HP DeskJet 2700 series printer.
  • Install any available updates to ensure compatibility and improved performance.

5. Reset Printer Settings

  • On the printer's control panel, go to Setup > Printer Maintenance > Restore Factory Defaults.
  • Reconfigure the printer settings after the reset.

If this solution hits the spot, please come back and click "Accepted Solution" to help others find the answer. And if you'd like to say thanks, select "Yes" on the bottom left of the public post, as that would make our day! 😊

Take care, and have an amazing day!

Regards,
