@9156553, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Ink level of HP DeskJet 5550 printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If you're unable to find the ink levels for your HP Deskjet 5550 on Windows 11, try the following methods:

Use HP Print and Scan Doctor

  1. Download and Install HP Print and Scan Doctor from HP’s official website.
  2. Open the tool and select your printer.
  3. Click on PrinterSupply Levels to check the ink levels.

Use HP Smart App

  1. Download the HP Smart app from the Microsoft Store.
  2. Open the app and add your printer.
  3. Click on your printer to view ink levels.

Print a Self-Test Page

If software options don't show ink levels, try printing a test page:

  1. Turn on your printer.
  2. Press and hold the Power button.
  3. While holding the power button, press the Resume button 4 times.
  4. Release the Power button. A self-test page should print with ink levels displayed.

Check Ink Level from Control Panel

  1. Open Control PanelDevices and Printers.
  2. Right-click on HP Deskjet 5550 and select Printing Preferences.
  3. Navigate to the Services tab.
  4. Click Service this DeviceEstimated Ink Levels.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
